Climbing is the perfect activity for all generations, where everybody finds their own challenges and beats their own limits. Soča Valley offers a wide variety of rock climbing opportunities and experiences in stunning natural climbing areas. We offer rock climbing experiences for beginners as well as experienced climbers.
The activity takes place in the natural climbing areas of the upper Soča valley and can be adjusted to vary technical difficulties. There are many easy accessible (15-20 minute walk) climbing areas in the valley. Our climbing instructor will advise which area and routes are best for your skills and will secure and guide you through the activity.

Included in the price: Guiding, climbing equipment, round-trip transfer between our agency and the climbing area, 22% VAT.
Reservation is required by e-mail. Please note that we keep our groups small and therefore our tours can fill up quickly during peak season.

About rock climbing
What are the restrictions and requirements?
Group size: 3 – 6 people.
Minimum age: 8 years.
Maximum weight: 110 kg.
Minors: Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Medical conditions: All participants with certain medical restrictions must consult Outdoor Galaxy staff before booking.
Pregnancy: This activity is not suitable for pregnant women.
Alcohol and drugs: It is not allowed to be under the influence of alcohol or other psychotropic substances during the activity.
What equipment do I need?
Equipment we provide: Harness, helmet, rope, belay devices, carabiners, quickdraws, climbing shoes, chalk.
Equipment you bring: Sports clothing and water.
Equipment you can bring: Contact lenses, prescription glasses with straps, sunscreen, medication, hair elastics.
What is the reservation process?
Reservation by e-mail is required. Each reservation is subject to the reservation terms, which are listed on the TERMS AND CONDITIONS page.
What happens in case of bad weather?
In case of very bad weather (storm, lightning), the activity is cancelled. We notify you of the cancellation and together we try to set a new date. If it is not possible to set a new date and the activity has been canceled from our side, we refund you the entire cost of the reservation.
