Rafting the rapids of the beautiful Soča river near Bovec is the most popular outdoor activity in the Soča valley, if not in the whole Slovenia. In our opinion, no holiday in Slovenia is complete without rafting down the Soča river. It is a special experience for both fun-loving adventurers, as well as for families with children. Each boat carries up to 8 people plus one licensed raft guide. The guide instructs the crew for a safe and exciting tour down the rapids for an unforgettable team-bonding experience.
Price per person:
- 51,00 € + 15 € river permit = 66 € (low season)
- 56,00 € + 15 € river permit = 71 € (high season)
Low season: 1. April – 20. June. High season: 21. June – 31. October.
Included in the price: Experienced guide, safety briefing, rafting equipment, round-trip transfer between our agency and the river, 22% VAT.
Reservation is required by e-mail. Please note that we keep our groups small and therefore our tours can fill up quickly during peak season.

About rafting on the Soča river
What are the restrictions and requirements?
Group size: Min. 3 people.
Swimming: All participants must be able to swim.
Minimum height of the participant: 130 cm.
Maximum weight of the participant: 125 kg.
Minors: Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Medical conditions: All participants with certain medical restrictions must consult Outdoor Galaxy staff before booking.
Pregnancy: This activity is not suitable for pregnant women.
Alcohol and drugs: It is not allowed to be under the influence of alcohol or other psychotropic substances during the activity.
What equipment do I need?
Equipment we provide: Helmet, life jacket, splash jacket, wetsuit and footwear.
Equipment you bring: Swimwear, towel.
Equipment you can bring: Contact lenses, prescription glasses with straps, sunscreen, medication, hair elastics.
What is the reservation process?
Reservation by e-mail is required. Each reservation is subject to the reservation terms, which are listed on the TERMS AND CONDITIONS page.
What happens in case of bad weather?
In case of very bad weather (storm, lightning), the activity is cancelled. We notify you of the cancellation and together we try to set a new date. If it is not possible to set a new date and the activity has been canceled from our side, we refund you the entire cost of the reservation.
