In the fly fishing paradise
Crystal clear rivers and streams rich in various types of fish.
The Soča river is a true pearl of nature. Famous for its clear waters and dazzling emerald colour. The Soča river valley is considered one of the richest and most beautiful areas for fly fishing in Europe. It attracts many fishermen to the valley from early spring to late autumn.
Fly fishing is the only permitted method of fishing on the Soča River. We offer guided fly fishing trips on the Soča as well as on the following rivers: Koritnica, Lepena, Učja, Tolminka, Idrijca, Bača, Nadiža, Kneža and Trebuščica. The interesting and diverse character of the rivers allows fishermen in the Soča valley to find at least one river where fishing is possible, even in bad weather.
In addition to the famous marble trout, these rivers also contain: grayling, brown trout, crosses between marble and brown trout, and rainbow trout. But it is certainly the marble trout that attracts the most fishermen from all over the world.
